Corteva launches update to Enlist soybean line

October 17, 2022  By Top Crop Manager

Corteva Agriscience has launched the Pioneer brand A-Series Enlist E3 soybeans. Available in limited volumes since Sept. 1, Pioneer will offer 12 A-Series Enlist E3 soybean varieties across a range of maturities to meet Eastern Canada’s soybean needs, with more varieties being introduced in 2023.

During geographically diverse testing and trials in 2021, A-Series Enlist E3 soybeans delivered a slight bushels-per-acre advantage against all competitors. Along with yield performance, farmers get improved agronomic traits including soybean cyst nematode (SCN) resistance, white mold, Phytophthora and sudden death syndrome (SDS).

Farmers in the United States are already familiar with the advantages of the Enlist weed control system. With an adoption rate on U.S. soybean acres of greater than 45 per cent in 2022, the Enlist system is the industry’s fastest-growing soybean herbicide system.

The Enlist weed control system delivers on-target applications with enhanced flexibility to fit a farmer’s herbicide program while providing control of hard-to-control and resistant weeds, such as waterhemp, Canada fleabane and field horsetail. Enlist herbicides feature near-zero volatility and reduced potential for physical drift when applied according to label instructions, as well as a wide application window, no calendar cut-off dates or temperature restrictions.
